The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using your personal computer, smartphone or tablet. If you do not have access to the Internet, please contact us and we will schedule a time for you to take the survey at school. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Parents may select the Spanish version within the survey. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.

A note from our school nurse concerning the flu...
We have had several confirmed cases of the flu at Western Elementary. If your child has a fever, please make sure that they are free from a fever for at least 24 hours before returning to school. Decreasing a fever with medication does not make your child fever free and ready to attend school.
The infectious period for a cold is 5-7 days after symptoms first begin. The infectious period for the flu is 1 day before and 3-7 days after symptoms begin.
