PASSport To Success
Parents Assuring Student Success

You are invited to become a PASSport parent!

PASSport to Success is a training program developed for parents to help their children develop a positive attitude toward learning and produce a productive home learning environment. You will learn ways to help your child manage time, listen, concentrate, manage homework, prepare for tests, and improve thinking and reading skills. From your efforts at home, your child's study habits will improve and so should grades and test scores.

Jefferson Parkway PASSport Graduation

Jefferson Parkway Elementary School parents who completed PASSport training participated in a graduation ceremony during the December PTO meeting. Nineteen parents were awarded certificates. PASSport is a program developed specifically to help parents see the need to be involved in their student's education. PASS stands for Parents Assuring Student Success. The program consists of eight modules presented over a six week period training parents how to modify the home environment into a study environment and how to train their children to use study skills. These graduating parents represent each grade level at Jefferson Parkway, as well as Special Ed. The administration and staff of JPES are very proud of these parents and their involvement in the life of the school and their students.
