Parent Survey: All parents of enrolled students in Coweta County Schools are highly encouraged to complete the Georgia Parent Survey. Your participation is important it will provide feedback on the climate of your child’s school. Such data will be used when calculating the School Climate Star Rating on the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), which is Georgia’s 100-point accountability system that our schools and districts are rated on.
The National School Climate Center refers to school climate as the quality and character of school as it relates to norms and values, interpersonal relations and social interactions, and organizational processes and structures. As such, the school climate is the foundation for the learning environment, which is foretelling of student’s capability to learn and foster in a school.
The Georgia Parent Survey consists of 20 questions, which may take no more than ten minutes of your time. Your responses will be anonymous and immediately reported to the Georgia Department of Education for data analysis. Please complete the following survey: http://apps.gadoe.org/schoolclimate/parents.nsf/Survey.xsp. We greatly appreciate your time.
Affidavits: Affidavit forms are being sent home by your student. Please review the requirements for completion of affidavits and submit no later than December 19th. Notaries are available in the front office from 8:00am – 4:00pm. Beta Club: The ECHS Chapter of The National Beta Club is accepting applications for membership. Applications are available in SA916, guidance, and the 9th grade office or can be printed by clicking on applications. Applications are due to SA916 on or before January 23, 2015.
Yearbook: For your to order a yearbook online, go to ybpay.lifetouch.com. The East Coweta High School code is 3451615. The cost for a yearbook is $75.00.
School Pictures: To order school pictures, they may viewed online at http://www.bpiphotography.net/ using the Web Password located on their student ID. No Proofs will come home with students.
Financial Aid/HOPE Scholarship Night: Join us for the Financial Aid/HOPE Scholarship Night on January 15th.
DUAL Enrollment Night @ ECHS: Find out about the benefits of Dual Enrollment and how the process works. Parents of 10th and 11th graders are invited to attend on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 @ 6 pm in the Main Cafeteria. Representatives from Clayton State, University of West Georgia, Point University and West Georgia Technical College will be present.

Be it known that all schools in the Coweta County School System have been duly inspected for asbestos according to EPA regulations and an Asbestos Management Plan is available at each school.
