 Thanksgiving break

Remember there is no school next week--- November 20th-24th.

We hope you and your family have a safe and wonderful break!

Congratulations Broncos on a 2017

CCRPI score of

celebration 196.3celebration 2

The CCRPI is Georgia's statewide accountability system, implemented in 2012 to replace No Child Left Behind's Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) measurement, after the U.S. Department of Education granted Georgia's waiver from NCLB. It measures schools and school districts on a 100-point scale based on multiple indicators of performance.

See  Mrs. Harrison's Parent Fall Newsletter  which highlights this achievement!

Wednesday, November 29th!

Can a thon

Thank you to all who helped make our Can-a-thon a HUGE success!

We raised over 7,000 cans and had a lot of fun sliming teachers!

1 out of 5 kids don’t get the food they need.  Help us make a difference and show kindness to others!  Checks must be made out to NJSL (Newnan Junior Service League).

affidavit

All affidavits are due December 19th!

If your child enrolled in Coweta Schools this fall you do not have to complete another affidavit.
If you turned the affidavit in at the middle school or high school, but did not request that they send it to us, that school may not send it to us, and we will not be able to mark the student off the list.
The letter is on one side, and the affidavit is on the other side of the yellow paper.
The front office staff are not allowed to notarize anything that we do not see the parent sign....so ONLY completed affidavits should be sent in by the students.
Our front office staff is happy to notarize any affidivate during office hours.

Notice to Parents of Curriculum Transparency

We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning and success, especially in regards to content and skill development that our students will experience in our classrooms this year.  A list of Coweta County School System’s adopted instructional resources is accessible on our school system website (www.cowetaschools.net) and on each school’s website.  Access to print versions is available upon request.  Coweta County  School System will continue to utilize an approval process that involves administrators, teachers and parents/community members.

 Chrome Book Training for Parents!

Look under our "ChromeBook Resources" tab on our website for more google tips and additional resources.

Third through fifth grade students are strongly encouraged to purchase a Chromebook cover for the Dell 3120 Chromebook. Students may not decorate their actual Chromebook, however, they can decorate their cover.  Decorating and personalizing their cover will make it easy for teachers and students to identify their own device, as well as protect it. Parents may also want to think about getting something big enough to hold the charger as well.
