“Wolfie’s Mad Hatter Dash”
Willis Road Elementary School will be hosting its Second Annual
“Wolfie’s Mad Hatter Dash” on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 in
historic downtown Senoia, GA. Race setup will be locatedat the
Senoia Library located at 148 Pylant Street , Senoia. Runners may
park across the street from the library and will be directed to the start
line from there. The start line will be near the intersection of Morgan
and Pylant Streets. Pre-registration is available at www.active.com or
at Willis Road Elementary School, 430 Willis Road, Sharpsburg.
Entry fee is $25 through October 26th. Fee increases to $30 on October 27th.
To guarantee receiving a race shirt, registration must be completed by October 26th.
Registration and Race Packet Pick-up will be available on Friday, November 14th
from 1pm to 6pm at Willis Road Elementary School in the cafeteria. On race day,
registration and race packet pick up begins at 6:30am and the run will begin at 7:30am.
Prizes will be given for the best hats. For more information, contact WRES PTO at

Monday and Tuesday are singing auditions for Annie.
We will be in the music room from 2:30 until 4:00.
Acting auditions will be on Friday, November 14th from 2:30 – 4:00.
Students must be present at BOTH auditions to be considered for a part.
Pancakes with Santa Arts and Craft Show will be December 6th, 7:00am until 11:00am.
Santa will be here from 8:00am until 10:30am. We will have Arts and Crafts set up during
our Pancakes with Santa for everyone to do some shopping from their Christmas List.
If you and/or someone you know would be inter-ested in renting a table or space,
more information. The price for a single table/space is $25 and $30 for a double table/space.

WRES Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest
Each student can create a poster (either at home or school) that stresses the importance of living a safe and drug-free life.
Hang posters outside of your classroom by Wednesday, October 29.
A winning poster will be selected from each homeroom. Winners will receive a FREE ice cream pass from Dr. Smith.

Dress up like your friends (crazy clothes, hair, shoes, etc.)

“Team Up Against Drugs”
Wear your favorite team jersey or colors.
Wednesday, October 29:
“Drugs “arrrr” bad!
Wear a WRES shirt and a bandana on your head.
Thursday, October 30:
“Say No to Drugs”
Wear RED Day
Friday, October 31:
“Say Boo to Drugs!”
Wear orange and black or a Halloween shirt. No costumes, please.
