Program |
Welcome to Willis Road’s guide to Georgia’s
Testing Program. Outlined below are the
descriptions of tests administered to elementary
students throughout the school year. You will
find additional information linked to the right,
and you can expect further details and resources
to be sent home periodically.
If you have any questions about the testing
program, please contact your child’s teacher or
a WRES administrator.
The purpose of the Georgia Testing Program is
to
-
measure the level of student achievement of
the Quality Core Curriculum (QCC) standards
and Georgia Performance Standards,
-
to
identify students failing to achieve mastery
of content, to provide teachers with
diagnostic information,
-
and to assist school systems in identifying
strengths and weaknesses in order to
establish priorities in planning educational
programs
