 About the Rainforests

Rainforests are full of trees, weird animals, big bugs, and wonderful plants. Rainforests are found all over the whole world around the equator. This area is called the tropics.  Rainforests get a lot of rain. Almost all rainforests get over 6 feet of rain per year! Many rainforests get more than 16 feet of rain, and some rainforests get as much as 30 feet! The temperature in rainforests stays around 75 and 80 degrees all year. The largest flowers in the world grow in the rainforests. The tiny frogs and the largest spiders live in the in the rainforests too. Rainforests have high humidity.
