Raising Money for Welch
Raising money is an important function of the PTA. There are many items that the school system does not provide to schools and this is where PTA picks up the slack. Welch PTA has spent almost $9000 so far on technology and equipment for the school (see Goals/Accomplishments Page). In addition to donations to the school, money raised is also used to support PTA events like Math & Science Night, Movie Nights, Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad, Fall Festival, Teacher Appreciation Week and many other events that enrich the learning experiences and lives of our students and their families.
Parents can help the PTA raise money by participating in Spirit Nights and fundraisers and by participating in no-cost-to-you programs like Box Tops for Education and Kroger?s Earning Plus Learning program. Innisbrook Fund Raiser: $14,041.00 in sales. We keep 50% of that total ($7,020.50). We can make money all year long through Innisbrook! Visit their web site www.innisbrook.com and use our school code (103022) to make purchases and Welch earns 50% of your total!
Fall Festival:$10,324.87 was brought in during Fall Festival. About $5,000.00 of that was profit!
