Honor Garden Form
The PTA Hospitality Committee has developed a project to contribute to the learning experiences of our children while honoring Welch staff members and beautifying the school campus with some much needed landscaping. There will be Honor Gardens at the front of each building wing and around the Welch sign. Teachers can use the gardens to educate students about water conservation (part of the 4th grade curriculum), life cycles, the seasons, and more. We are incredibly grateful to Catalpa Landscaping for the wonderful landscape plan they have designed for our campus and to Infinity Landscaping for the very generous donation of the plants, trees and shrubs that we need to complete the gardens.
Thankful Tree Form
To show our teachers and staff how thankful we are for all that they do during the school year, the PTA will be “growing” a Thankful Tree in the main hallway of the school during November. Please talk with your child about what staff member at the school they are most thankful for and why. This can be their teacher, bus driver, librarian, custodian, lunch staff or anyone who works at the school and your child may choose more than one person. Then fill out this form and return it to the school in an envelope marked PTA Thankful Tree.
