Welch Makes AYP! The Staff of Bobby Welch Elementary School and some of the senior staff of Coweta County school system celebrated today the announcement that Welch completed all the requirements to make the Adequate Yearly Progress needed in the No Child Left Behind federal mandated program. As a result of a lot of hard work and dedication on the part of the teachers and administration during last school year and the beginning of this year Welch qualified and the announcement was made on 9/30 just before the close of business. After School Program
The Goal of the After School Program is to support the growth and development of children by providing a supportive, interesting, and adult supervised environment. The Purpose of the Coweta County School System After School Program (ASP) is to provide a safe, structured, and stimulating environment for those school age children.
Our Focus is to provide a safe and caring environment for qualified students who are in need of quality after school supervision. Children are offered indoor/outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, homework time, and a variety of other activities that promote the physical, social, and emotional skills that will balance and complete their day.
This service is available each day from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. on days school is in session.
