1. Can I visit my Child during school hours?
We discourage visitors to the classroom during school hours, as this disrupts the students learning! You are however to have lunch with your child in the cafeteria on any school day.
2. How do I register my child for school?
All students who will be coming to Welch as a new student to the Coweta County School System must register through the Central Registration Office. This is office is located at the Central Office on Werz Industrial Blvd, Newnan, GA. Please call 770-254-5551 to make an appointment.
3. How do I sign my child In/Out of school?
To sign a student out of school, the parent must come into the front office and present a photo ID. The student will be called out of class. Students will not be called from class for check out/early dismissal after 2:00pm.
4. When do I drop off/pick up my car rider?
Car Riders may enter the school for drop off between 7:30am and 8:00am. If you drop your child after the 8am tardy bell, they must come into the front office and get a tardy slip to be admitted to class.
Car Riders are released from school between 2:30 and 3:00pm. You must have a Blue Car Rider sign in order to pick up your child. You may get a sign from the front office, please be ready to present your photo ID. Car Riders who are not picked up by 3pm will be put into the Afterschool Program.
5. Can I have lunch with my child?
You are welcome to come to school and have lunch with your student on any school day. The adult lunch price is $2.50 and can NOT be charged to the student's account. Please call the front office for your student's lunch time.
6. Can I send in goodies for my child's birthday?
We encourage you to bring birthday goodies during the lunch or snack time in your students classroom. You can contact your child's teacher for that information.
