George W. Bush is the son of George H. W. Bush. George W. was born on July 6, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. He governed Texas for 6 years and  was the 46th governor of that state. He then moved on to be the 43rd president  of the United States of America. He led us through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan plus the terrorist attacks.

George H. W. Bush  was born on June 12, in 1924 in Milton, Massachusetts. Coming from a helpful and loving family, he chose to go to Philips Academy in Andover. There he became a student leader. On his 18th birthday he enlisted in the armed forces. He flew 58 combat missions in World War ll. He started to raise a family, and he had 6 children, George, Robin (died as a child) John (known as Jeb), Neil, Marvin, and Dorothy. In 1980 he ran for president but lost. Ronald Reagan chose him to be his Vice President. Then in 1988 he became the president of the United States of America.
