Mozart Facts

• Full name is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart        

• Was born in Salzburg, Austria in 1756

• Father is Leopold Mozart

• Mother was Anne Maria Mozart 

• Sister was Marianne

• Learned to play the violin perfectly when he was four

• Wrote a concerto when he was six  

• In1768 he was asked to compose and conduct an opera in Vienna for the Emperor Joseph II

• Took a job at the court

• Archbishop Heironymous Colloredo never appreciated Mozart's music 

• Mozart quit this job

• Mozart's dad died 

• Mozart died at the age of 35
