The Tajiks
Tajik people live in in the glacier-capped Pamir Mountains of West China. They are semi-nomadic shepherds herding cows, yaks, sheep, camels and mules.
The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China was built over 2000 years ago. Qin Shi Huangdi, the first Emperor of China, built The Great Wall of China. It is one of the largest building structures ever complete. It is made of masonry, rocks, & packed earth. One of the nicknames of The Great Wall is the dragon's back. Also it can be seen from outer space!
Chinese Writing
The legend of the inventor of Chinese writing was a minister named Ts'ang Chieh. He recorded the history in the court of Emperor Huang Ti, the first king of China.
The three ways of forming a Chinese character are form, sound, and meaning. Also there are six principles that are used to define the characters, which are pictographs, indicatives, ideas, harmonics, Tran missives, and borrowed words.
Chinese Cities
There are many Chinese cities. I am only going to talk about a couple. The cities we are going to talk about are Beijing and Shanghai. Beijing is the capital of China. Shanghai is the largest city in China.
