By : Corey H.
I have been fascinated with space ships all my life, so that is the reason I chose to create my web page about space disasters.

The capsule collided with the space station Mir in a docking maneuver damaging a module.

On April 23, 1967 after a 26 hour flight the Soviet cosmonaut Vladimir Kamarow died when his capsule was crushed on landing because the drag chutes did not open.

On January 1967 the US astronauts Virgil Grissom, Edward White, and Roger Chaffee were killed during a simulated launch on board the Apollo 1 because the short circuit ignited the pure oxygen on the space shuttle.
