3.2 Uses encyclopedias, science reference magazines, books, and other media to obtain information related to science concepts.

processes. Identifies evidence of basic life processes in the immediate
environment such as gathering and digesting food, excreting waste products,
reproducing, breathing and responding to the environment.

traits are passed from parents to offspring. Describes features inherited
associated with living things.

of animal and plant life cycles. Illustrates the life cycles of a chicken,
