This year we have started live broadcast news for the morning announcements. Every 9 weeks each fifth grade classroom rotates for their turn to be apart of the production crew along with Jennifer Harkleroad and Carolyn Kilby assisting the students with their duties. The different jobs the group is given is Set Manager, Director, Anchors, A/V Check, Camera, and Switch Room. The class for that nine weeks will rotate weekly to a different job.
The announcements include lunch menu, Pledge of Allegiance, Moment of Silence, Birthdays, Character Ed word, Hallway rules, and any important information needed. Broadcast news is only shown on closed circuit television.
