Our mission is striving to reach and motivate every student each day by ensuring that students attend school, feel safe, are valued as individuals, and learn the appropriate curriculum for future success. As a Distinguished Title I school, Smokey Road is committed to not only continued academic improvement but also to excellence in the areas of athletics, fine arts, extra-curricular activities, attendance, and citizenship. We believe it is important to recognize and celebrate our students’ academic, athletic, and fine arts successes as well as help them to become good citizens who acknowledge the importance of community involvement and civic responsibility. Though we have shown great progress in meeting many of these goals, we believe we must continuously improve in order to provide our students with high-quality, engaging instruction in a safe and supportive environment.
