CONGRATS TO THE SMOKEY ROAD INDOOR PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE SCA 1st place!

                Winner of the Scholastic A Concert Class at the West Forsyth Contest

                Winner of the Scholastic A Concert Class at the Forsyth Central Contest

Symphonic Band Festival Day  March 25 (Thursday) at 8:00pm (students stay after school)

Concert Band Festival Day March 26 (Friday) at 10:00 am.  Students report to SRMS at 7:30 am.

Smokey Road Band Accomplishments during 2009-2010 school year so far

*    Veteran's Day Performance for over 500 Veterans

*    Pictured in the Newnan Times Herald for the Smokey Road Veterans Day Assembly

*    9 Students Made the District Honor Band (earned by an audition process) Most in Coweta County Middle Schools

        Students are: Mindy Griffith, Tavaris Johnson, Kathryn Adcock, Sarah Cash, Gabby White, Harrison Brown,  TJ Stewart, Morgan Meacham, Mercedes Smith (alt). 

*    3 Students earned their way to the second round of All-State Auditions (earned by an audition process)

* Harrison Brown becomes the first students in Smokey Road History to make the All-State band. Most in Coweta County Middle School.

*109 Students Registered for Solo Competition and 47 Students registered for Ensemble Competition!

* SRMS Indoor Percussion Ensemble wins to SAPA circuit shows!

* Over 30 students selected to participate in the Coweta County Honor Band
