Locker 56 is a program of The Keith Brooking Children's Foundation that provides new athletic shoes for children and youth in need.

Smokey Road Middle School raised a total of $2,258.02 – highest amount among all middle schools and the 2nd highest amount in the county! As the winning middle school, Smokey Road will enjoy an assembly with Keith Brooking and friends in April as well as a Best Buy gift certificate for the media center!

During the school competition, students and staff members participated in various fund-raisers including:

• hat days
• Windsuit Wednesday's for faculty and staff
• grade level competition among connections classes with the winning grade level receiving a Sunshine Break.
