Georgia National Fair Art Winners

Lisa Fell, Smokey Road art teacher, entered 22 student artworks in the 2007 Georgia National Fair Art Competition in Perry, GA. Students in grades 7-12 from across the state of Georgia competed for ribbons and prizes. Smokey Road received the Georgia National Fair Superior School Art Award for Middle School, which includes a plaque and a $200 award to the teacher. This prestigious award is given to the one middle school in the state of Georgia that receives the highest number of first place ribbons on student artworks at the statewide fair.
