Jan Pierce - 8th grade Physical Science & Georgia History

Teaching experience: at Central Middle & Smokey Road Middle since 1993, teaching many subjects, (including life, physical and Earth science, math, home economics, study skills, literature, Quest, social studies, and reading), and coaching basketball, pep squad and soccer, and sponsored extra-curricular activities such as Junior Civitans, Global Achiever's International, March of Dimes, Native American Heritage Society, and Multicultural Society.

Currently teaching physical science, March of Dimes representative, coaching girl's soccer and sponsoring the Multicultural Society

Education: Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from the University of West Georgia ; Masters in Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University

Hobbies: playing soccer, biking, and learning about Native American Heritage and Earth science

I grew up in Coweta County and graduated from Newnan High School in 1979.
