Greg Cook - 7th Grade Science

Mr. Cook lives in Carrollton , GA with his beautiful wife Melanie. He started teaching in 1993. He is certified to teach both middle and high school, but has always taught middle school and likes it that way. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Cook operated nuclear reactors in the U. S. Navy. He served onboard naval submarines and at a nuclear reactor prototype where he got his first taste of teaching, by instructing GE engineers to operate nuclear reactors. Mr. Cook received his B.S. in education from the University of West Ga. His hobbies include outdoor sports such as backpacking, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Mr. Cook also enjoys teaching Sunday school and singing in his church choir. He spends much of his spare time working with the Boy Scouts of America.
