Geography Bee

  The National Geographic Bee, an educational program of the National Geographic Society, is a nationwide geography competition for U.S. schools with any grades four through eight, designed to encourage the teaching and study of geography.  
 

 
 

1.  In December, each team at SRMS will hold a Geography Bee. 
2.  In January, the winner from each team will compete in the school Geography Bee.
3.  The winner of the school Geography Bee will take a written test to compete with
      the winners from all schools in Georgia.
4.  The top 100 scores in the state go to the state competition in Milledgeville.
