2016-2017 School Improvement Plan

The following is a draft of our School Improvement Plan for this year. It is a "living document" as it is always under construction and being updated and refined to meet the needs of our school and our students.

2016-2017 School Improvement Plan (always changing and being updated)

.Our School Improvement Plan is based upon the Coweta County School System 2014-2019 Strategic Plan

If you have any questions or comments about our plan,

College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI)

Georgia was one of ten states granted a waiver from the federal
No Child Left Behind Act in February 2012. The state created a
new accountability system called the College and Career Ready
Performance Index. The Index will help us tell parents and the
public how schools are performing in a more comprehensive manner
than the pass/fail system previously in place under Adequate
Yearly Progress (AYP).

 GAPSS Results

Ruth Hill was recently evaluated by local teachers and school and system leaders on 48 school standards (known as the Georgia Assessment on the Progress of School Standards, or GAPSS). This process is completed every five years. We scored Operational or Exemplary on 98% of the standards and we were rated as exemplary in 30 of 48 standards!
