Ruth Hill Elementary School
During the 15-16 school year, our school score earned 52.3 points on our College and Career Performance Index (CCRPI). We are now at an 81.6!
That's almost a 30 point jump in one year!
We had the highest growth of any school in the system!
We rank #7 of 19 elementary schools and rank #9 of all 31 schools in the school system!
We came in #3 of 14 Title I elementary schools in the system.
We beat the system and state CCRPI averages as well!
I want to thank everyone for working together to make this happen. Growth like this is not accidental. It comes from a collaborative effort from the central office offering guidance, the outpouring of support from our community, and us reflecting on and refining our instructional practices while holding one another and our students to high expectations. We quit making excuses and made it happen.

Here are some comments made about Ruth Hill taken from recent parent and student surveys...
Teachers and staff are well educated, professional, and friendly.
The supportive environment to help students learn. The new positive behavior plan is a great addition to help students get the positive recognition for good behavior.
The friendliness and willingness for teachers and faculty to TRY. Organization is so well implemented in every part of the school from dropping them off to picking them up. I FEEL MY KIDS ARE SAFE THERE! A++++++
The fact that as a parent I'm included & welcomed into the school & what's going on with my child. I love that Ruth Hill is a family & we all work together.
Teachers are very helpful and friendly.
Hands down the teachers we've had & the open door policy! I think it's important for parents to have access to the school and be invited and welcomed to be part of their child's education.
It’s fun and the teachers are nice.
It is a great school for learning.
