Welcome to Poplar Road Elementary School, home to the Mighty Panthers! I am so excited to be starting a new school year with you
and your student.
This is my fourteenth year in education, all of which has been in the Coweta County
School System. I began my teaching career in 1995 after graduating from LaGrange
College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master's in
Education Leadership from State University of West Georgia and my Specialist's
degree from Samford University. I have served as an assistant principal at Evans
Middle School, Madras Middle School and Thomas Crossroads Elementary School.
I am married to Sean Goodwin and have two boys, Seth and J.T. We
live in Senoia.
Education has always been a very important part of my life. It
is my desire to make it as important and fun to you and your children. I look
forward to working with you this school year!
