 Group Activities

Group work is a large part of a student's grade in my World History Class. Group activities teach students how to work in a team setting and how to be responsible for their individual performance on the tasks within the group. Students will be evaluated while working in groups by the group rubric that I have established. This rubric allows me to hold each- individual student accountable for their groups performance.

Tests

-Students will be given a review sheet before every test. This review sheet will tell students EXACTLY WHAT WILL BE ON THE TEST!

-If a student scores below a 70 on any test, they are then required to get that specific test signed by a parent or guardian. If the test is not signed within 5 school days, I will place a call home, and the student will lose an additional 5 pts of their test grade.

-Any student who fails a test will be exempt from doing any-group activities until they pass a test. Students not in groups will be given a packet of work sheets to complete.
