In 2003 cadets took  a trip to New Orleans to visit the D-Day Museum,  the museum of the confederacy,  and the Chalmette battle field of the battle of new Orleans during the war of 1812

Colonial Williamsburg Museums: Discover in the Past in Museums, Just a Few Steps Away

In 2002 Cadets visited Colonial Williamsburg, Jefferson's Home at Monticello, and Historic Charlottesville. This provided an opportunity to expand the history class room.

Liberty Bell Picture

In 2004 Cadets  will be visiting Philadelphia,  Pennsylvania. They will see the Liberty Bell and Independence  Hall along with the Betsy Ross House and other historical places. 

Drill Team

This year the cadet drill team, rifle team, and color guard have competed at Valdosta state and are going to Tift county for a Drill meet. This year the drill team, rifle team, and color guard are going to Georgia State for a HUGE DRILL MEET.

The cadets took a trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in 2001. Also visited the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, and Washington's Home at Mount Vernon. As well as, Alexandria, Virginia.

 Newnan High School Air Force Junior ROTC cadets take a weekend trip to Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina.  The cadets get to fly on a C-17 for their transportation  from Dobbins.  Once at Charleston the cadets tour historical Downtown Charleston, Fort Sumter,  and The Yorktown Naval Museum.
