This page contains nothing but military history links. It starts off with General military sites and then progresses from WWI-Cold War. We will be using several of these links during the course of the second nine weeks. There are many interesting links here, so if you are interested in any of these conflicts, please view some of these excellent sites!

Vulture's Row: An Online US Naval Aviation Resource: Good stuff on Naval Aviation, as well as Operation Desert Storm.
Naval Historical Center: Lots of information on Navy history, including Naval Aviation. Naval Aviation News Magazine online here as well. If interested in the Navy, this is where to start.
War Times Journal: Great site with information on everything from Napoleon and Wellington to airplane nose art. Great research site, and interesting reading as well.
The History Net: Excellent site set up by the Cowles History Group and the National Historical Society. Contains many of the articles from the Cowles group of magazines: WWII, Military History, Vietnam, Aviation History, etc... I really well done and interesting site.
VP Navy: This site has everything there is to know about Navy Patrol Squadrons. Extremely well done and interesting site.
The Paperless Archive: All sorts of once secret information- about military conflicts, the Presidency, etc...
World War I
Trenches on the Web: As far as I am concerned, there is no better site on the web for WWI information than here. This is a great site. Check out the biography section for bio's done by Newnan High School students. (Lufberry, Rickenbacker and York)
The Aerodrome: Aces and Aircraft of WWI: A great site on the dawn of military aviation...the pilots, aircraft, medals and more.

Death of an Air Ace, 1918: Brief description of the last flight of Raoul Lufbery.
The Great War Society: Contains the "Doughboy Center" with the history of the AEF along with photos of the period.
BBC: The Great War- 80 Years On: Video and audio clips, letters from soldiers, oral history all go into making up this fascinating site.
