This activity involves a pretty good bit of reading and writing. I would prefer that you open MS Word and type up your answers and then print them out to turn in!!!!!
Hitler's biography is laid out on this site in several easy to read chapters. I want you to choose 2 of the chapters that you are most interested in. (Read the titles of the chapters). Once you have read the 2, I want you to summarize each one in a paragraph on your paper. (Total=2 paragraphs) Once you have finished, go back and choose a 3rd chapter and just read it.
In order to keep their secret messages secret, the Nazi's invented a code machine that was called "Enigma." Go to the link above and follow the send a coded message link. Read the instructions on how to work the online Enigma and then type in a message. On your paper put down what the coded version of your message looked like.
