Born in New Hampshire, raised in Delaware and then Japan.

Graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa.

Graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Social Sciences and a M.Ed. in Counseling.

Has been teaching for 29 years, the last 15 at Newnan High School.

Currently teaching Psychology, AP Psychology, Law and Sociology.

Enjoys traveling and antiques.

Sponsors the Psychology Club.

She has an 18 year old daughter (Erin) 4 year old dog, (Kali) a 9 year old cat, (Rorschach) a 5 year old cat (Qtip) and a guinea pig (Jellybean).

Named Mike Patton Teacher of the Month for Excellence in Education, September 2000.
