Sponsored by the Newnan High School History Department

At the end of every term, the Newnan High School History Department sponsors local veteran's from all 20th Century conflicts to come in and talk to our students about their experiences and sacrifices.  Our department wants to put a face with the textbook!  Thanks to all the men and women who have served this country and are willing to spend time with our students!!

I want to give credit to the History Department staff that helped with this project- Mrs. Whitlock, Mrs. Fields, Mrs. Clifton and Mrs. Quesinberry all helped with the set up, hospitality room and lunch. Mrs. Field's helped with phone calls and supplies.  Mr. Sandlin and Mr. Weidert covered my parking duty.  I would also like to thank all the students that brought food and helped with the parking from Quesinberry's fourth block and Fields first and fourth blocks- great job guys... and thank you!!!

Thanks to Melissa and Christine for taking the photographs!!!

Last, but certainly not least, our thanks go out to Major Cook for allowing us to use his facility and all the staff for helping us and putting up with all the people invading their generally quiet building- we appreciate it!
