Received her B.S. in History at Geneseo State University in New York.

Received her Masters Degree in Public Administration from Troy State University.

Taught for 5 years at East Coweta High School- has been at Newnan High School since 2003.

Has three children- Ray, TJ and Kirsten.

Enjoys watching her children play soccer and lacrosse.
