Although graphing calculators are not required,
they can be a powerful tool in mathematics. |

I recommend my students use either a TI-84,
TI-84 plus, TI-83, or TI-83 plus graphing calculator. If you plan on taking Calculus,
I strongly recommend that you purchase a TI-89. It is a much more powerful
calculator that will do symbolic manipulation of variables which is very
desirable in AP Calculus. The most important thing to remember about the use
of a calculator is that the best calculator is the one you are born with,
your BRAIN! |
