Drama Club: Drama Club Officers remind you that you have until next Friday, 9/29 to join Drama Club and order shirts. Please see any club officer if you have questions. Thespians attending the 2018 GA Thespian Conference have until the end of the day on Friday, 9/29 to turn in paperwork and arrange for payments. See Mr. Ramseur if you have questions.
Golf: Anyone interested in playing golf this year should attend a meeting tomorrow, 9/22, at 7:45 a.m. in the New Gym Classroom.
1. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE MOVED FROM ARMORY ROAD BEFORE 4:00 p.m.
2. The parade route has CHANGED. Please check your school email for the new route. The parade will pull out of Armory Road at 5:30 p.m. and floats will be judged as they turn the corner onto LaGrange Street.
3. This year’s pep rally will be held at the Greenville Street Park.
SGA Spirit Night: Stop by the Redneck Gourmet today, 9/21, after the Homecoming Parade for a bite and to support our SGA. Be sure to tell them when you order that you are there to support Newnan High SGA!
Yearbooks: The 2017 yearbook is here and ready for you to pick up in the Principal’s Office. Please bring an I.D. with you. If you ordered a yearbook you may pick it up before/after school or during your lunch.
Boys/Girls Basketball: All students interested in playing basketball must remember that there are only 2 weeks left to turn in all necessary paperwork for the upcoming season. No paperwork – no tryouts!! Deadline is Friday, 10/7.
Career Center/100 Office: If you are interested in Dual Enrollment for the Spring Semester or for next school year, drop by the Career Center during your lunch to discuss opportunities available West Georgia Tech.
College Visits: Throughout the year representatives from different colleges and universities will come to NHS and visit with interested students. Please sign up in the Counselor’s office if you are interested in finding out more about these specific schools: Mercer University – Tuesday, 9/26
PARENTS: Please join the school system for a series of community conversations to discuss the growth of our community and school enrollment, and the future of our school facilities. Meetings will be held in the school cafeterias from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the following middle schools/dates:

PARKING: Parking tickets are being written daily now!
Student Parking Passes are being sold in the 100 Office. You may stop by before/after school or during lunch. You must have a valid NHS Parking Permit and be parked in a legal spot to avoid getting a ticket. All numbered spots, areas in front of gates and dumpsters, and grass is off limits to students. NHS staff will be monitoring all parking areas throughout the school day.
