WHO AM I???

RULES:

• This project is to be presented to class in a 3-5 minute presentation. The presentation should be well rehearsed and the information presented accurately. The project will be due on ________________. Any project turned in after that date will receive and automatic 20 point deduction and 10 points per day following that deduction.

• I will allow you to choose, at random out of a shoe box the name of a famous and important historical person from world history. You will then research the person's life and present it to the class, along with pictures. You may not change your person after you have chosen and you must follow the format given for the project.

FORMAT: MUST BE TYPED: NOT TYPED =ATOMATIC 15 POINT DEDUCTION

1.You may complete a report that contains a MINIMUM of 3 written pages, double spaced, 12 point font (no fancy fonts necessary), not bolded, with 1 inch margins. The report must have at least one picture of your person and may contain pictures of their inventions, writings, or any other relevant works. THE PICTURES DO NOT COUNT AS PAGES TOWARDS THE 3 WRITTEN PAGES. THE REPORT MUST HAVE A COVER PAGE. REMEMBER, DO NOT PLACE THE NAME OF YOUR PERSON ON THE COVER OR ON YOUR PICTURES THAT YOU WILL SHOW THE CLASS.

2. You may complete a Power Point Presentation. The presentation must have all of the elements required by the writing assignment. You should have multiple pictures and facts. Your presentation should be colorful and well put together. The paper portion will be reduced to 1 ½ pages if you chose to do the Power Point. REMEMBER IF YOU DO THIS YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 15 SLIDES OF FACTS AND PICTURES.

• IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WORLD

• A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF THEIR LIFE

• PICTURES OF THE PERSON, THEIR INVENTIONS, THEIR WRITTINGS, A COVER PAGE, BIBLIOGRAPHY OF RESOURCES.

• A TIME LINE, DONE SEPERATELY FROM THE PAPER WITH A MINIMUM OF 5 MAJOR THINGS THAT OCCURRED DURING THEIR LIFETIME WITH DATES.
