World Economic Threats
"Threats to the global economy have shown a bit in recent months, but policymakers must stay on guard," the head of the International Monetary Fund said Monday.
The remarks by IMF chief Rodrigo de Rato come as investors have fears about the severity of the housing fall in the United States as its shock on the rest of the world. Last week, an IMF report said that so far the economic slowdown in the United States has had only a small effect on global economic activity.
