Courtney Wilson

Courtney Wilson is in the twelfth grade. She is currently taking Teacher Cadet II, Economics, and Teacher Apprenticeship. Of her classes Courtney's favorite is Teacher Apprenticeship. Courtney says that her most challenging class this semester is Economics.

Courtney wants to be a grade school teacher and teach Pre-K through first grade. Because she wants to be a teacher, Courtney loves working with the Teacher Apprenticeship Program. It is a great opportunity for someone going into that field. She says, "It is a wonderful program to work with."

Courtney is a member of both the Academic Club and the National Honors Society. She plans to go to college after she graduates and hopes to attend Columbus State University.

courtney says that once she graduates from college she wants to return to Coweta County and become a school teacher somewhere close to home.

Going to the park is only one of the many things that Courtney enjoys doing; she also love going to the gym and doing volunteer work for the community.

The thing that Courtney loves the most about Newnan High School is the learning experience she got from the wonderful staff!
