Volleyball

The Newnan Varsity Volleyball team made the state volleyball tournament for the first time ever. This team gave the All-County Team three members with Danielle Ruble, Jenna Schnetzer, and Ashley Stewartson. Coach Laurendine made a big impression in her first year at Newnan by being named Coach of the Year. She turned the volleyball program completely around for the Cougars.

Danielle, Jenna, and Ashley also were named to the All-Area Team.

Ashley Stewartson was named this year's County Volleyball Player of the Year. Spiking her way through 28 wins and finishing 2nd in the Area 4-AAAAA Tournament was hard work! With Jenna being the "set" expert and Danielle dominating at the net, the Lady Cougars had a great season.
