Cougars Win Two on Friday

Both ladies' and men's soccer teams defeated the Morrow Mustangs. The Lady Cougars won 15 - 0 by the mercy rule in the second half. the Cougars won by a score of 4 - 1. The Lady Cougars record is now 2 - 3. The Cougars record is now 3 - 2 after the victory.

The girls who scored were Sarah Avery, Carly Carroll, Mimi Edge, Megan McAlpin, Sarah Tamplin, and Anna Wierzbicki. Sarah Avery had three goals, Carly Carroll had three goals, Mimi Edge had one goal, Megan McAlpin had one goal, Sarah Tamplin had four goals, and Anna Wierzbicki had three goals.

The men who scored were Charles Peterson, Josh Stripling, and Ricky Spohn. Josh Stripling scored two goals.

The next girls' games were on March 6th against Paulding County, March 7th against Sandy Creek, and March 9th against Mundy's Mill. The next men's games were against Paulding County on March 6th and March 9th against Mundy's Mill.

Both varsity coaches Jason Weidert and Aaron Buck were very pleased with the turnout of the games.
