Heart and Soul Tour
The seventh annual "Hart and Soul" Bus Tour will be stopping in Newnan on April 18th. The guest list on board will include state legislators, philanthropists, forty-five Georgia Business leaders, and other.
The "Heart and Soul" tour will take three days to complete. The trip will begin in Douglasville on April 18th and end in Fayetteville on April 20th. Eleven cities will be visited along the way.
The eleven cities were chosen to show the extensive guest list on the tour as well as the many people who will visit Georgia in the future Georgian's best downtowns where people can live, work, and play. The tour will arrive in Newnan at 12:40 p.m. at the Carnegie Library. Redneck Gourmet Cafe, Fire Station Lofts, Rooks Building, and the Alamo will all be included in the tour of historic downtown Newnan. Newnan City Hall and the Coweta County Courthouse will also be visited before the tour leaves at 2:50 p.m.
The purpose of the tour is to show that Georgia's cities are both creative and colorful. Douglasville, Bowden, LaGrange, West Point, Pine Mountain, Barnesville, Macon, Forsyth, McDonough, and Fayetteville--along with Newnan--will all be visited by the tour.
