Thomas Darrah Commits to Alabama
Thomas Darrah, who has seen success in three varsity sports at Newnan High School (baseball, basketball, and football) will now go on to be part of a historic college football team. Darrah has committed to play football at the University of Alabama. After Thomas and his parents visited the school a few weeks ago, the opportunity presented itself to become part of the program, and he accepted.
In Darrah's high school career, he has passed for over 7.000 yards and over 50 touchdowns. Thomas was also named Offensive Player of the Year and made multiple All-Star Teams including All-Region and All-State squads. Darrah turned down a basketball scholarship to Georgia College in Milledgeville.
Darrah will report to Tuscaloosa for summer classes. Thomas will be listed third in the depth chart and will back up returning starter John Parker Wilson at quarterback.
