County's Tax Website Operating

The county's Tax Commissioner's Office is now up to date with the launching of www.cowetataxcom.com. The new website will include information, a taxpayer search, and a way to pay taxes on line.

The website should bake it easier for people to access the tax commissioner's office.

The information ranges from how to get a tag or insurance for a vehicle to information on property taxes.

The website is expected to lower the number of phone calls, which will help move people to other needed areas of the office.
