Study Skills

This week's study skills include ways to learn visually.

1. Always have the "big picture" before you, especially when studying in parts.

2. When you try to remember things, close your eyes to get the "big picture," or picture the time and place you are studying. This technique may help you see exactly what you are trying to remember.

3. Use color highlights to emphasize important materials.

4. Look through titles, charts, graphs, and pictures to get an overall idea of the content before reading through a chapter.
