Mrs. Selena Sweatman

Mrs. Selena Sweatman is the bookkeeper at Newnan High School. She has been the bookkeeper for two years. As bookkeeper, she keeps balances of all school accounts, pays bills, makes deposits, sells parking decals, and collects money for parking decals as well as any lost or damaged textbooks. She also has to work with the budget for the next school year and balance the bank statements every month, but other than that, she has no pressure on her at all. Before she was the bookkeeper, she worked for seven years in the Registrar's Office.

Mrs. Sweatman graduated from Newnan High School in 1985. She loved math and still does. When in high school, she was the manager of the football team. She was in chorus, senior play, and drama club. After school, she wanted to work for the school system and came to Newnan High School as registrar.

Mrs. Sweatman has a wonderful family. Her husband, Wade, teaches scuba diving. Her whole family is certified to scuba dive so they travel all over the Caribbean scuba diving.

Mrs. Sweatman has three children. Lindsay is a junior at North Georgia College in Dahlonega. Cori is a sophomore at Newnan High School, and Aaron is a fourth grader at Arnco Sargent Elementary.
