Sarah Hinkemeyer

Sarah Hinkemeyer is a 12th grader at Newnan High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the A Team. "I'm also on the planning committee for the Coweta County Relay for Life," says Sarah. She enjoys reading, swimming, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah's favorite part about Newnan High School is the teachers. She says every department that she has encountered has wonderful teachers who make learning fun. She is currently taking AP Chemistry, AP English, Viet Nam War, and Economics.

After Sarah graduates, she plans to attend college. She will start in the fall, and she is strongly thinking the University of Tampa is the best place for her to go. She said, "They are giving me a scholarship, and they have a great science program." Sarah is planning on majoring in forensic sciences, possibly specializing in forensic anthropology. In ten years, she sees herself with a Masters Degree. While in college, she plans on working a part time job. After college she plans to work as a forensic scientist (of some kind) with a state government investigation agency or the FBI.

Sarah does not have a quote she lives by. She just does her best in everything she does, and she never gives up.
