History has always been a great interest of Mr. Quesinberry's. He feels that history is a hobby as well as a job. Mr. Quesinberry said, "It's pretty cool when your job is also your hobby." History was his favorite subject in school. He also added that he always felt it was more interesting than any other subjects besides P.E. or recess.
Mr. Quesinberry teaches a Vietnam War class and just recently traveled to Vietnam. Mr. Quesinberry said about his trip and experiences there, "Life is different there, yet at the same time it is the same--good people wanting a good life for themselves and their families. The experience could never be duplicated--I got to visit the places and experience the culture I teach about . . . It can't get any better than that."
When asked if there was anything little known about him, Mr. Quesinberry shared that he used to do a lot of horseback riding. He did rodeo tricks where he would pick things or people off the ground while the horse was going as fast as it could. He says, "That was a long time ago--I don't think I could do that any more!"
