Psychology Club
Psychology Club is currently collecting change for Pennies for Patients. This money goes to children who suffer from Leukemia or Lymphoma. Change can be brought to Mrs. Whitlock's room or given to any Psychology Club member.
Last year in this event, over 320 Georgia schools participated and raised nearly $400,000. If the school as a whole raises over $350, the classroom that raises the most will receive a pizza party or a pasta party (depending on the school's location) sponsored by Olive Garden. If the school raises over $1,000, the school will be eligible for prizes, such as gift certificates for school supplies. For more information, you can visit their website at www.schoolandyouth.org/ga.
Psychology Club will run in the Angle House Run on February 10th.
The club sent $250 to the School-in-a-Box Program. This program provides school supplies for impoverished areas around the world.
