Mrs. Peebles chose to be a math teacher because she wanted to be involved in helping people achieve their life goals. She did love math in school, and she says she is a methodical person so it comes easy to her.
Mrs. Peebles says that most difficult thing about teaching math is, "Being a self-motivated person myself and realizing the importance that math plays in everyday life causes teaching students who are not willing to put the time and effort it takes to be successful in math class difficult for me. Helping students to understand how math plays an important role in obtaining their life goals is a concept I am always working to achieve."
Mrs. Peebles also says the reason math differs so much from other courses is because mathematics is progressive, each course builds off of the previous ones.
Mrs. Peeble's hobbies include cooking and reading. Because she loves to help people at all stages of their lives, she works with people of all ages at her church.
